Cupertino Home Sale is Another Success For StynesGroup

Well, that was fast.  Our latest real estate listing, 21295 Rumford Avenue, Cupertino, CA, is officially in contract!  On Thursday, we began accepting offers at 2:00 PM, and by close of business, we had eight competitive bids, with many over the asking price.  This makes back to back Cupertino homes that we have sold, each with less than a week on the market.  Needless to say, the owners were very excited when we presented the offers, though picking the best one from the numerous outstanding bids was harder than they expected.
This is just another example of how careful preparation before listing day can do wonders in securing strong offers.  My Team and I met with the owners months before they were ready to sell.  We discussed with them the possible changes they could make to there home in order to secure a strong sales price, and we coordinated the various vendors and contractors when the owners were ready to prepare their home for market.  All of this work, which included installing new hardwood floors, redoing bathrooms, and painting amongst other things, really made the house shine in our print and online advertising for the property.
Our advertising succeeded in bringing people into the home, but once they were there, the house sold itself.  During our two open houses, we had over _____ groups view the property, many of whom immediately went home and downloaded the disclosures off of the property website we had set up for the listing.  Throughout this week, our office phones have been constantly ringing with interested agents inquiring about the home.  And as I said above, this interest continued right on through the sale.
In the coming weeks, I plan on doing a before and after post to show just how much work went into preparing the property for market.  The difference, was staggering.
