It's important to let your imagination run free. After all, that's what put Silicon Valley on the map. Without creative thinking from the likes of Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Ronald Wayne or Bill Gates, our modern lifestyle would look a whole lot different. The 2017 San Jose Fantasy Faire and Pirate Fest allows you to let your inner medieval character out.

2017 San Jose Fantasy Faire and Pirate Fest
For two days, Discovery Meadow Park will be filled with kings, queens, princesses, princes, pirates and more. The organizers of the 2017 San Jose Fantasy Faire and Pirate Fest want you to dress up in whatever costume you want. It's not a requirement to dress up. But it will enhance your visit if you do. Think of this as a Renaissance Faire invaded by pirates. Don't be surprised if you see a sparkling fairy with wings attached, goblins, ogres and even a mermaid or two.
Enjoy live music on both days of the 2017 San Jose Fantasy Faire and Pirate Fest. Nosh on tasty Ren Fair food and drink. Do a little shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts and baubles, leather goods, hand crafted masks, jewelry and more. Seven local writers will be on hand to talk to visitors as well as sign copies of their books. They include Davidson L Haworth, SL Gray, M Todd Gallowglas, Renee Murphy, Valerie Estelle Frankel, AE Marling and Christopher J Garcia.
You can purchase your tickets for the 2017 San Jose Fantasy Faire and Pirate Fest online. Simply visit the faire's Eventbrite website here. You'd better get them now before they are sold out.
We encourage creativity here in the Silicon Valley. You never know where the next great idea will come from. Bring the family to Discovery Meadow Park April 8th and 9th for a fun getaway.
