There's more to Silicon Valley than just "tech stuff." The smaller suburbs provide an excellent place to raise children. Meanwhile, the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities remain within a short drive. Recently, Campbell was named as one of the Best Suburbs in the West by Sunset Magazine. Anyone who lives in this Silicon Valley community understands why.
Campbell Named One of the Best Suburbs in the West
Claremont CA made the top of Sunset's list. Located in Southern California, it hit all the marks on the magazine's list. It's small town sense of community, protection of its history and natural splendor helped propel it to the top. However, Campbell CA came in a very close second.
Again, small town appeal helped Campbell make it on the Best Suburbs in the West list. With wealthier neighbors like Cupertino (Apple HQ) and Saratoga and more prestigious locations like Los Gatos (Netflix HQ) and Mountain View (Google HQ), the little community of Campbell often gets overlooked. By Silicon Valley Real Estate standards, Campbell homes are more reasonably priced than their neighbors. While Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Los Altos and Mountain View Buyers pay well over $1 million on average, the median price for a Campbell Single Family Home runs around $908,000.
Downtown Campbell underwent a transformation recently, creating a more vibrant scene. Charming restaurants and small boutiques are beautifully framed by tree-lined streets. You'll find Victorian-style homes as well as modern masterpieces in the town's residential areas. Parents will be happy to note that Campbell schools rank within the top 10% of all public schools in the state. And places like the Ainsley House keep Campbell's history alive.
It's no wonder why Campbell was named one of the Best Suburbs in the West. If you're interested in checking out some of the Campbell properties for sale or any other Silicon Valley homes, feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to show you around.
