Cupertino Blackberry Farm Harvest Festival 2016
The City of Cupertino, the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society and other organizations partnered up for the Cupertino Blackberry Farm Harvest Festival 2016. See the entries in the art and logo contest. There are some very talented people out there. Visit the photo booth to capture this moment with your friends and family. Try your luck at the carnival games for fun and prizes.
Have you picked up your pumpkins for Halloween? Visit the pumpkin patch at the festival. These orange gourds also make great fall decorations throughout November. As long as you don't cut into them, they should last for several weeks. Live music keeps festival-goers entertained. Several local service organizations and clubs will be on-site passing out educational information. A petting zoo brings fun farm animals directly to you courtesy of neighboring McClellan Ranch Preserve.
When you get hungry, one of the food vendors will be more than happy to quench a thirst and fill your belly with delicious goodies. Costumes are greatly encouraged. Take a walk along the park's trails for a look at nature up close. For more information about the Cupertino Blackberry Farm Harvest Festival 2016, please contact the City at (408) 777-3120.
Even though the swimming season has ended for Blackberry Farm, the scenic circle access bridge remains open to the public. October's hours run from 6:30 am to 7 pm. They change in November (6:30 am to 5:30 pm). These hours remain the same until the end of the year.
